Van Saun Park & Zoo

Today we had Giacomo's end-of-school Field Trip to Van Saun Park & Zoo in Paramus, NJ. Again, a great time was had by all...well except for Dorian on the Merry-Go-Round, he was just a tad bit scared.

Brooklyn Children's Museum

This is an awesome museum. It's brand new, and free on Wednesday afternoons from 2-5.

Jewish Children's Museum

Yesterday we went with Giacomo's friend Seb to the brand new Brooklyn Childrens Museum. Before we headed into that museum, we stopped for a quick nosh at a restaurant at The Jewish Children's Museum! I had never heard of this museum, we just stumbled upon it.

The front was amazing with a HUGE photograph made up of 1000's of pixelated photos.

See if you can spot the boys in the top shot - it's like "Where's the Jewish Waldo"!

Both museums are located in Crown Heights which is the most Hassidic part of Brooklyn, Giacomo especially like climbing in the huge Dreidle statue out front ;-)

No More Training Wheels!

We removed the training wheels from Giacomo's bike. Now we just have to get him to break with out crashing! He's afraid of breaking and jumps off when the bike is still moving.
