Flower Power

Thanks to Martha and Daphna, Giacomo has a beautiful new set of Ikea sheets on his bed! Everyone, including the bear, the monkey, and the Dorian - seem to enjoy it!

NY Hall of Science

Today we went to the NY Hall of Science in Queens. I read that it has a brand new 30,000 square foot science playground! Since today was supposed to be 75 degrees, just perfect, I decided to go just me and Giacomo. It was quite an adventure, we had to take 6 trains to get there and back, all in all we were on the trains just under 4 hours today - but this is how you do it when you have no car! It was fine though and Giacomo was a good sport. There was a Cyberchase exhibit, that show on PBS. Giacomo doesn't watch the show regularly - he's probably seen it once - but he was obsessed with that exhibit. Then we went to the outdoor playground, we saw a puppet show in the preschoolers section, and meandered thru all the other sections. It is a beautiful museum and well worth the trek!!
