Playdate Birthday

We had a few friends over to help Dorian celebrate turning 2 !! And from the looks of it, there's one other boy there besides Dorian.

How did that happen? Dorian is the ladies man!

MET Knights

I have been dying to take Giacomo to The MET to see the Arms and Armour ever since he has been obsessed with his Playmobil Knights. Finally we went and he was amazed by absolutely everything.

When I showed him a Giacometti sculpture, he asked, "Why does my name have so many lettters"? It was so sweet.

What a great way to spend the day.

Dorian Turns 2 !!

As always we had a rollicking good time with the family for Dorian's Big Day!! It's funny, when Giacomo turned 2, we bought him a toy kitchen for $200!! And for Dorian, we got him a new Diego Sippy Cup!!!!!! He doesn't know the difference and absolutely LOVED it......until we lost it a few months later.

But hey, these are some tough times! I'll explain the economic crisis to him when he's older and questions me about this post ;-)

Home for the Holidays

Unlike years past, where we used to go away for the X-Mas Holidays, this year, we just took a trip to Grandma's. Mrs. Clause, aka, Grandma Patty decorated her entire kitchen w/ red and green, and blue for the Jew in her and us ;-)

We had a fun week with lots of new adventures!

X-Mas Day in Central Park

What a beautiful, happy day.

One funny part about the day was when we were getting ready to head back home. Giacomo had to wear my gloves on his feet, because the snow and slush had soaked thru his shoes and socks and the only option was to put him in the stroller, have Dorian on JP's shoulders, and have Giacomo wear my gloves on his feet to keep warm. We called him Monkey Feet, because he had 10 really long toes! Too bad we didn't get a pic. We were all laughing about it the whole way home. You should have see the stares!

All in all, it was topped off by a yummy meal of Spare Ribs, the kids fave!
