Jersey City Boardwalk

There is a beautiful walkway along the Hudson River in Jersey City. It's a boardwalk that stretches from Newport practically all the way to Liberty State Park, not far from Lady Liberty herself. We like to go there because it's peaceful, easily accessible, and there's always something new to discover.

City Treehouse

This place boasts NYC's largest indoor water playground. We went for a free trial day, it was alot of fun! But pretty expensive if you want to go there regularly. For 2 kids, it's like $50 to play there for an hour. That's NYC for ya! Outrageous prices. But most places like this let you have a free trial :-) We like that.

Spring Break in the Leaves

Well the Spring Break is definitely not what it used to be! Instead of Cancun, I was never a fan of that Spring Break anyway, we went to.......Grandma's!

Anyhoo, the kids had a blast playing in the leaves, can't really do that in the 'boken!

Kidz Village

Here we are, sitting curbside with carseats and all, waiting to get picked up to go to Kidz Village! It's a kids playplace about an hour away in New Jersey. It was a really cute place to spend the day, alot of friends have had their birthday parties there.

In Bed with Erika

We had Giacomo's friend Erika and her 'rents over for Fondue, and somehow Giacomo always winds up in bed with the ladies...watching Noggin of course! Awww, they were tired.

NYC Transit Museum

We went on a trip to this tiny little museum in Brooklyn. The museum is actually housed in an old Subway Station! It was practically empty, so Giacomo got the run of the place, no pun intended. In the lower level are original vintage subway cars, that you can run all throughout. Plus they have kids workshops for free, Giacomo made a house. They also have real city buses kids can drive and interactive science exhibits.

This is the 2nd year we've gone w/ our friends from Hoboken. We watched about 10 'shorts', and then voted on our favorites.

Here is Giacomo w/ Emma, who is moving to Savannah, GA very soon. We'll miss ya Emsers!

Building Blocks & Major Fro!

Giacomo loves blocks, here is a set that he got for X-Mas, showing his creations of an airplane and the light rail.

Lucky for Giacomo, he is going to a "progressive" school next year, where everything is taught through building blocks!
