Kids Evening Concert Series

Every Tuesday evening there are concerts for kids at a beautiful park. All of our friends go and bring picnics, lay on blankets and enjoy the beautiful summer nights. This past Tuesday featured the music of Yosi - a local fave.

Giacomo was especially thrilled to find one of his best friend's Ethan. They had fun playing pirates and looking for treasures (coins) in the fountain!

My Name is Mud!

Yesterday afternoon, we went to our friend's Jasper & Clementine's house. They have a great backyard, as you can see, and the kids had a total blast getting all muddy and naked and slapping muddy handprints on the wall and painting the wall!

They also have a beautiful herb/vegetable/box garden and are growing anything you can think of: lemon verbena, lemon mint, parsley, basil, rosemary, and tons of others. The boys hd so much fun tasting the herbs! Jasper's nickmane is "Cow" because he loves to graze!

Undiscovered Waterpark!

Yesterday, while Giacomo was at camp (same school - but a summer program), Dorian and I went with our neighbors Chasity and her 1 year old daughter Scarlet to this totally amazing waterpark I randomly discovered a few weeks ago while driving around Union City.

They have a kiddie pool that's only about a foot deep at its deepest point, so Dorian could go in by himself, all these colorful structures that spray water in it, lots of climbing structures and big water sprayers and dumpers - your typical waterpark fare.

It was really great, I can't wait to take Giacomo there!

Scooting with Daniel

Here's Giacomo with our neighbor Daniel. Danny's about a year younger than Giacomo but the boys really love eachother and had a great time scooting around on the racetrack we made on our terrace. Too bad Danny will be moving soon! They just put their condo on the market. Another one bites the dust.......
