Mother's Day Blinding Lunch

I thought we had already celebrated Mother's Day earlier this week when Jonathan came to town, but since the weather was supposed to be so beautiful on Sunday we decided to celebrate again and go visit Krissy and the girls, as Spencer was off doing a shoot in Vienna.

We took a drive to some beautiful Rockland county towns, Nyack and Piermont. We even saw Rosie O'Donnell's house in Nyack! (Well we saw the ginormous brick wall that blocks off her property!).

We went out to lunch in Piermont, which is a beautiful little town with Victorian mansions right on the Hudson River. The lunch was crazy because it was so bright outside nobody could see!! We had to have the waiters put another table cloth on the table just so we didnt have to stare at a white table cloth that was literally blinding everyone! Seda and Giacomo both were whining and complaning that they couldn't see, so Krissy had to feed Seda her meal around the corner in the shade on the side of the restaurant! It was so bright that it was like going skiing on the sunniest day and the sun relecting off the snow and literally blinding you. JP even wore my moms sunglasses, I wish I got a picture of that!

But it was a fun day exploring, except for the blinding lunch from hell :-)

Yeah, 4 kids at a restaurant = hell.
